Payments are made using PayPal - a leading on-line payment service which uses the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe real-time payment environment. Customers are invited to set up a PayPal account if they do not already have one - this does not take long and no charge is made for setup. Once setup secure payments can easily be made using a wide range of credit, debit or switch cards without the need to re-enter information. Full account management is provided and the user has access to a wide range of other services such as automated subscriptions - see below. Subscription Service

This is a new service which we are able to provide our customers which uses PayPal Subscriptions which you can manage, modify or cancel at any time via your PayPal account. To access the subscriptions page select this link

Here you may subscribe to paper amendments for your Guide to Traffic Law or Guide to Criminal Law or to e-guide licence renewals.

Subscription periods are 6 monthly or annually for the paper amendments and annually for e-guide licence renewals.

Once set up your account will be debited with the subscription amount at the specified interval until cancelled. You can cancel subscription renewal at any time before payment becomes due from your PayPal account.

This will provide a secure and uninterrupted means of ensuring your Guides or e-books are kept up to date. The service is automated and requires no user input to renew the subscription.

Existing customers - Please ensure your account has been settled before setting up a new subscription - this will help us to provide a more effective service.

If you are not already a PayPal member you will be asked to complete registration (there is no charge for this service). PayPal members need only log on and confirm subscription.

Once Registered with PayPal you can easily manage your subscriptions and quickly make secure payments on thousands of web sites and on-line auctions such as e-bay.

Cancelling subscriptions

You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time before the start of a new subscription period via your PayPal account.

Subscriptions are renewed automatically until cancelled.

Varying subscriptions

We cannot vary the terms or rates of your subscription once set up. In the event we need to make any changes, we will cancel your subscription at the end of your existing subscription period and invite you to renew at the revised rate or period. You will also receive an e-mail from PayPal to confirm subscription cancellation

Payment

Payment

Orders should be accompanied by payment in full by cash, cheque, Mastercard, Switch or Visa credit or debit card, or postal order. On-line orders and Subscriptions must be made using PayPal - when setting up a PayPal account you will be asked to provide a debit or credit card as your primary means of payment.

We are happy to accept orders from Government Departments, Police Authorities and other approved bodies accompanied by an official purchase order. Payment is expected within 30 days of date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on accounts which remain outstanding after that period at 2% above the standard bank rate.

Pro-forma invoices can be sent on request.

Amendments should be paid for in advance - sorry, we are unable to continue the practice of sending amendments with a request for payment - in order to reduce our administration costs and keep the price of our products as low as possible we request advance payments - new and existing customers can take advantage of the on-line subscription service which will automatically renew your subscription at the selected interval - you may cancel your subscription renewal on-line at any time before the next subscription payment is due. You can of course still make payments through our office.

Despatch

We do our best to despatch orders the same or next day. Our normal method of posting is by Royal Mail (second class) and orders should normally be expected to arrive within 2 to 3 days of posting however during busy periods this may be longer. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal carrier. If you have not received your order within 7 days you must notify us immediately. If you require a quicker or more secure method of delivery we can arrange, at additional charge, for these services to be provided.

Larger orders may take some time to prepare and may be despatched by a different courier, please ask at the time of order for an estimate of delivery.

In any event we endeavour to ensure that all orders reach their destination within 28 days.

Returns

If any product is damaged in transit please notify us as soon as possible and in any case within 7 days of receipt and we will send a replacement. We ask that you subsequently return the damaged item together with packaging so that we are able to make a claim against the courier.

If any book or amendment has pages missing or mis-printed or has other defect please contact us and we will endeavour to replace the defective pages.

If you have mislaid or accidently disposed of any pages, this happens sometimes when amending a book, please let us know and we will try to rectify the problem.

Refunds

Our products are not sold on a sale or return basis however if you, for any reason, are dissatisfied with the item which you have ordered please contact us immediately and return it to us as soon as possible and in any case within 7 days. The returned item must be in as-new condition so that we can re-sell it. Products downloaded or supplied on CD must be returned together with a signed declaration that the contents have not been stored on any system or other media or having been stored or copied, all files and other contents have been removed and no other copy is kept. Return postage will be at your own expense. Refunds will be made within 30 days of return of goods which are in a satisfactory condition.

Refunds for subscriptions can only be considered if made within 7 days of the transaction providing no amendment has been despatched.

Refunds will be made by the same method as original payment. If a credit or debit card was used to pay for the goods refunds will be to that card account and the transaction must be completed within 30 days of the original purchase. Refunds more than 30 days after purchase or refund by another method than original payment will involve an extra charge to us which we reserve the right to pass on to the customer.

Complaints

Complaints regarding any aspect of our business or products may be made to our office where they will be dealt with by our office manager. We will try our very best to ensure that all our customers receive a prompt and satisfactory resolution to their complaint.

Personal Information

Information about our customers is kept by us is for the purpose of accounting and sales only. The information is treated as strictly confidential and is recorded in a secure medium. We do not allow any such information to be accessed by or made available to a third party except where we are obliged to do so by law.

We do not track individual web use on this site however a cookie may be used to maintain security whilst browsing the secure section of the site, this will not gather any information other than password and username and will not be used for any purpose other than maintaining site integrety.

PayPal accounts are not managed by us and we have no access to them - see the PayPal website for their terms and conditions.
