2010 e-Guide
The 2010 version of our e-Guide is now available. The guide contains the full texts of our Guide to Traffic Law and Guide to Criminal Law as well as relevant Acts, Statutory Instruments, Orders, EU legislation Codes of Practice and guidelines to which the texts refer. for download on our web site, or
• on-line for use on web enabled devices from desktop computers

The on-line e-Guide will work on any device with internet access via ADSL, Broadband, WiFi or 3g and has been optimised to work on both large and small screens including the Apple i-phone and Blackberry devices.
(our e-book has been renamed as the e-Guide to avoid confusion with the latest generation of 'e-books' which have limited functionality and require a dedicated reader to access them - unlike our product.)

March Amendment Traffic Guide

Incorporating changes to legislation to 18th March 2010 including :-

    - S marks on replacement tyres to show compliance with new noise regulations
    - Hatred on grounds of sexual orientation
    - New offences Soliciting in a street or public place for the purpose of obtaining sexual services and Paying for sexual services of a prostitute subjected to force and changes to the offence of loitering or soliciting for purposes of prostitution.
    - Closure Notices and Orders in respect of premises used for activities relating to specified prostitution offences or specified pornography offences
    - Changes to Foreign Travel Orders
    - Football banning orders extended to the whole of the United Kingdom
    - Drinking banning orders on conviction in specified local justice areas

Provisions relating to prostitution

Coming into force on the 1st April 2010 provisions relating to prostitution
Repeal of The Sexual Offences Act 1985 - offences of Kerb Crawling and Soliciting are replaced with new offences :-

- Soliciting in a street or public place for the purpose of obtaining sexual services Section 51A Sexual Offences Act 2003 and

- Paying for sexual services of a prostitute subjected to force Section 53A Sexual Offences Act 2003

A change to Section 1 Street Offences Act 1959 - Loitering or soliciting for purposes of prostitution.
